Tissue Engineering

Tissue engineering is an extremely important area. It generally involves the use of materials and cells with the goal of trying to understand tissue function and someday enabling virtually any tissue or organ on the body to be made de novo.

To achieve this very important long range objective requires research in many areas. This blog is based on some references on tissue enginering. One of them is the book edited by Professor Clemens van Blitterswijk. The other book is the one edited by Professor John P. Fischer and Professor Antonio Mikos, as well as recent journals.
